From 17–18 October and 24–31 October, Treetop Walk Avondale will be transformed for Whispers in the Woods – The Harvest Moon Hunt, a family-friendly Halloween adventure filled with mystery, magical discoveries and seasonal fun.
Follow the trail, find the hidden objects and experience the Treetop Walk as you’ve never seen it before.
Can You Complete the Harvest Moon Hunt?
Legend has it that as the Harvest Moon rises over Avondale, ten magical objects appear throughout the woods.
Your mission is to find them all!
Pick up your Harvest Moon Hunt trail and set off along the 1.4km Treetop Walk, keeping your eyes peeled for all ten magical objects hidden along the way.
Complete the hunt and there’ll be a special prize waiting for you at the end.
But remember – some objects may be easier to spot than others!
Halloween Has Taken Over the Treetops
Expect a few surprises as you journey through the forest.
Pumpkins, witches, goblins, cobwebs and spooky characters will be appearing throughout the Treetop Walk, transforming Avondale into a playful Halloween woodland.
It’s all designed with families in mind, creating plenty of Halloween atmosphere and excitement without being too scary for younger adventurers.
And of course, Halloween costumes are encouraged! Come dressed as a witch, wizard, ghost, superhero or your favourite character and become part of the Halloween magic yourself.

For Whispers in the Woods, Treetop Walk Avondale will remain open until 7pm, giving families the chance to experience the forest as daylight begins to fade.
Watch the atmosphere change as dusk settles over Avondale and the illuminated walkway comes to life among the trees.
It’s a completely different way to experience the Treetop Walk – and the perfect setting for a Halloween adventure.
